About

The Sustainable Development News Network (SDNN) is a global alliance of news and media organisations with the specific objective of sharing knowledge, content and best practices on sustainable development reporting in the region.

It will be a community for media professionals and organisations who share the same values in advancing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) globally.

This initiative is being established following the launch of the world's first Sustainability Media Academy by EB Impact in 2022, when we convened 50 journalists and editors across Asia for a three-module learning and development programme on climate change and sustainable development reporting. The programme is supported by an established advisory board comprised of experts in the field of journalism, sustainable development and media thought leadership.

The SDNN is an inclusive global platform where professionals and organisations can become members and gain access to tools, resources, knowledge, events and thought leadership in advancing sustainable development content and debate.

We aim to launch this for Asia Pacific in the first year, with a view of expanding it across the world in future years. More details coming soon.
