    G20 Lunch Dialogue

    About the G20 Lunch Dialogue

Home to the world's fastest-growing economies, the Asean region has a young and thriving population with significant developmental needs. Many believe the region is the perfect destination for impact investing – where investments are made with the intention to generate positive, measurable social and environmental impact alongside a financial return.

Despite progress made in recent years, however, the concept is still far from reaching the mainstream even though it has been proven to be an effective way to generate steady returns while solving a wide range of society's pressing problems, engendering societal stability and the protection of vital ecosystems.

Hosted the day after the G20 Summit, this G20 lunch dialogue will provide an opportunity for business and policy leaders to discuss regional trends and how impact investing can play a role in achieving the objectives of the communique published at the conclusion of the G20 summit hosted by the Indonesian government.

Discussions focused on the three main pillars of the G20 Presidency: Global Health Architecture, Sustainable Energy Transition and Digital Transformation.
