In partnership with SGTech, EB Impact hosted the CSOxChange Roundtable Discussion, with Dr Amy Khor, Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment, on January 31st 2023.Joined by industry leaders and pioneers, the roundtable hosted free-flowing exchange of views on the job roles, challenges, and aspirations of sustainability professionals and how we can help create a supportive talent ecosystem.

The discussion covered 3 main questions:

What are some of the roles and challenges of sustainability professionals in Singapore?
How can we build a network of Chief Sustainability Officers (CSOs) and sustainability professionals that ensure inclusivity and allow for insightful exchanges?
How can this network support the development of current sustainability professionals and those just entering the workforce to ensure longevity in the space?

The learnings from this discussion will help co-create new programmes and policies with government and also lay the foundations for a new “CSOxChange” - a network of sustainability professionals that will be at the forefront of industry thought leadership, and building up the next generation of industry leaders.

Sustainability Business-to-Business Mentorship Programme

This mentorship programme is developed as part a subsidary of SGTech’s B2B Mentorship programme, through the CSOxChange. The programme which connects experienced industry leaders with ambitious professionals, accelerating and advances ambitious sustainability goals, both at a company-level and nationally driving digitalization and propelling Singapore's tech ecosystem. By fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange, we aim to bridge the gap between established experts and emerging talents, fueling innovation and growth in the tech sector.

Mentoring Overview

Mentoring is an intentional and nurturingprocess which fosters the development of the mentee towards the goal of achieving his or her full potential. Mentoring is also an insightful process inwhich the wisdom of the mentor is acquired and applied by the beneficiary.

SGTech andEB Impact’s B2B Sustainability Mentoring Programme makes use of the classic mentoring paradigm in which a mentor and mentee agree to start a mentoring relationship to support one other's growth, development, and success.
