Kaamela Barvin

Kaamela is EB Impact's Community and Marketing Manager. She has spent most of her academic life examining storytelling, ultimately pursuing a bachelors in English Literature at Nanyang Technological University.

Her professional experience is grounded in non-profit and social impact work. Her journey began as a production assistant chasing stories about extraordinary women. From there, she started co-running a ground-up initiative focused on educational access, and worked in community-building for the arts and youth sector. Sustainability came into the picture when Kaamela began attending beach clean ups at East Coast Park regularly. Since then, she has actively sought to do more and do better for the environment.

Kaamela's role in EB Impact combines her interest in storytelling, community-building and sustainability - and that excites her!
