Biography

Gerald is the Executive Director of EB Impact, a Singapore-registered charity dedicated to empowering individuals and communities with the knowledge and skills needed to build a more sustainable world. Through the design and delivery of high-quality education programmes, public engagement initiatives and events, EB Impact makes sustainability accessible and actionable for diverse audiences, from students and educators to seniors and professionals. In his role, Gerald provides overall strategic leadership, shaping the organisation’s long-term vision and impact strategy, while ensuring operational excellence and financial sustainability. He works closely with a wide range of stakeholders including government agencies, corporates, multilateral organisations, and community partners to scale EB Impact’s reach across Singapore and the region. Under his stewardship, EB Impact has deepened its efforts to integrate sustainability into everyday life by creating innovative learning experiences that make sustainability relatable and practical, empowering people to take meaningful action in their own contexts.

Prior to joining EB Impact, Gerald was part of the senior management team at a charity working at the intersection of arts and social change and established programmes that impacted a wide range of beneficiaries from underprivileged youths, people with additional needs and seniors as well. In addition, he co-founded a music training and artist management company focused primarily on developing children and youths into multifaceted performers and continues to serve on the company’s board, offering strategic guidance to the management team.

Gerald holds a BA(Hons) in Arts Management from Goldsmiths, University of London and LASALLE College of the Arts, and is currently pursuing a Master of Management (Nonprofit Management) at the Singapore University of Social Sciences on a full scholarship.
